Addendum to Conversion Commercial Property Part 1
Please note an addition to Part 1 Commercial Property that can be found in the Florida General Lines Agent Study Manual. Along with the information on commercial property cancellation and non-renewal discussed in the webinar, please add the following:
“An authorized insurer cannot cancel or non-renew a commercial residential property for a period of 90 days after the property has been repaired or 1 year after the insurer issues the final claim payment if the damages are a result of a hurricane or wind loss that is from a declaration of emergency. (Refer to F.S. 627.4133)
