In Part 1 (2 hours) we will take a trip back to some issues uncovered in storms prior to Hurricane Ian. We will then focus on lessons learned in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. FAIA Member Services (FMS) shares some actual issues that led to E&O Allegations against Agencies in Florida. A summary of those lessons/allegations will be discussed. As always, we will revisit some topics we talk through each year … but with a different twist … including Internal Considerations and External Communications. We will finish with an examination of Disclaimers and the use of Checklists.

Keith has earned professional designations as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). He serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at FSU/College of Business. Jones is also an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster as a college football analyst, serves as an analyst for football and basketball on the Seminole IMG Radio Network, and is the Co-host of the weekly Radio Show - The Front Row - airing in the Tallahassee marketplace.
